WE BELIEVE!

About a month ago Dimitri and Zachary mailed their letters to Santa Claus telling him what they wanted for Christmas . Zachary asked for anything to do with cars or Elmo. Dimitri asked for Wonder Pets or anything to do with Wall E.

Dimitri decided that he would be the one to send the letters to Santa.
Dimitri making sure the letters are secure.

While Mommy and Zachary snuggled on a bench a mischievous elf lowered some mistletoe.

Mommy gives Zachary a BIG kiss and thanked the elf.

Fast forward-Dimitri and Zachary received a letter from Santa Claus today.

Dimitri carefully opens his letter from Santa.

Dimitri is thrilled-it must be good news!

Zachary admiring Santa's letterhead.

It's legit, the letters are from Santa.

Zachary is stunned Santa remembers what he wanted.

Both boys seemed very happy to hear from Santa so close to Christmas. Santa even included some holiday stickers for each of the boys.

Thank you Santa! We will remember the milk, cookies and carrots!

WE BELIEVE! WE BELIEVE! WE BELIEVE!

Naughty or nice?

After an afternoon of collecting "Reindeer and Snowman Poop" we decided put them in bags and give as a yummy treat. If you receive Snowman poop apparently you have been naughty.

"You've been naughty
So here's the scoop
You're getting nothing
But Snowman poop"

The "Reindeer Poop" is our way of sharing with those we care about because

"I woke up with such a scare when I heard Santa call..."Now dash away, dash away, dash away all! I ran to the lawn and in the snowy white drifts, those nasty reindeer had left "little gifts". I got an old shovel and started to scoop neat little piles of "reindeer poop". But to throw them away, seemed such a waste, So I saved them, thinking ~ you might like a taste! As I finished my task, which took quite awhile, Old Santa passed by and he sheepishly smiled. And I heard him exclaim as he rose in the sky ~ "Well, they're not potty trained, but at least they can fly!"

Next, we decided to decorate some rice krispie treats.

Dimitri had a great time decorating all the goodies

Everyone pitched in for another FUN night!

Let it snow...

SNOW SNOW SNOW!!! Today winter came in with a vengeance. We all know that we need the snow-blah blah blah but we would be very happy if it would just stay in the mountains and we could go play in it when we wanted. Dimitri was a BIG boy and helped Mommy shovel the walks (yes, shovel in this day and age maybe someday we will get a blower).

Family fun night consisted of a GINGERBREAD EXTRAVAGANZA!

Has anyone seen where the snowman or

Christmas tree went?

Okay, now that we lost several decorative pieces it is
time to get started.

Zachary is a big helper

Or is he?

Dimitri is meticulous about the details.

Dimitri is definitely ambitious when he sets his mind to something.

Over the hills...

Over the hills and through the woods to grandma's house we go!
Tonight we had dinner at Grandma Mel's house (the food was GREAT)! It was nice to feel like we were miles away from city life. We had a wonderful time and look forward to next week for homemade gingerbread house construction. Thank you for a FUN evening!

Grandma's house

Zachary attempting to walk over to the tree~

Dimitri loved playing at Grandma's house.

Grandma Mel asked Dimitri to help her feed the horses.

We took this picture on the way up to Grandma's house.
It is so easy to forget just how beautiful this state can be.

76,77,67=220

Today we went bowling! This was Zachary's first time bowling and he did an AMAZING job!
First he helped Mommy pick out the perfect bowling ball.

Zachary making sure he picked the right ball for himself!

Zachary's BIG MOMENT with Mommy by his side!

Zachary loved bowling!

Dimitri loves to bowl. We played 3 games and his total score was 220 for all three games (he outscored each of his parents at least once).

We realized just how tough he is being able to carry his ball back and forth.
BRAVO Dimitri and Zachary!

Happy Birthday Angela (30 something)

Tonight was Angela's birthday party! Now, she is not much older than us so let's just say she is turning 30 something (even though she is in denial). Dimitri and Zachary both loved the cake, ice cream and the balloons.

Zachary loved the baby pug. How could you not?

Look at that little face.
Zachary always makes friends everywhere he goes!

The party was NOT over yet! From there we went for a hayride in the park to see all the wonderful Christmas lights.

We even saw a T-Rex.

Dimitri loves his cousin Austin!

Although it was cold the lights were beautiful!

Mommy and Zachary warm up at the end of the hayride.

We all had a GREAT time!

Dinner with family

Last night we had dinner at the Miller house aka Grandma Rena, Grandpa Alex, Audrey and Goomba. As always, the dinner was delicious (this time we had Mexican food). We can't tell you how nice it is to have a glass of wine and have dinner with family. After dinner the boys were lucky enough to open Christmas presents early.

Zachary loves anything to do with balls and cars and he got both. The baseball kit was a "HOME RUN" and Zachary crawls along the floor pushing his cars. We think his favorite car number is the #1 since it makes a rattle noise when he shakes it.

Dimitri LOVES his bulldozer and blocks and has spent the majority of the morning building and then watching the blocks crash all around him. With a little giggle in his voice he says, "again...again".

We also found out that Dimitri wants a kitty. He loved "Nezzi" (lets hope we spelled that right). We joked around all night the boys needed a kitty for Christmas! IT IS A JOKE!
Family rule: Our boys are NOT allowed to have any animals with a heartbeat as a GIFT (without written authorization from both parents).
Tonight we would like to thank the Miller family. Thank you for a FABULOUS dinner, GREAT gifts and a PERFECT evening! We look forward to doing it again!.

We love you guys!
