Making money...

The other day, I was out mowing the lawn. The next thing I knew Dimitri went inside, got their lawn mower, carried it down the stairs and came outside to help me mow the lawn. With each pass he would continue to push the lawn mower, copying every move I was making and would occasionally give me a thumbs up with a smile.

Our sweet little boy helping his mommy!

Today, I decided to reward Dimitri for all his
hard work by giving him a few dollars.

Zachary is adorable as always!

Look, how big our baby is....it is hard to believe that
he will be turning 3 years old in June.
Where has the time gone?

Dimitri has a heart of gold! Helping me mow shows his character. Dimitri is always thinking of others and is willing to lend a helping hand. Dimitri is an old soul with a gentle spirit.
We can't imagine our lives without him!
WE LOVE YOU LITTLE MAN!

Mr. Cool...

The other day Dimitri was playing in his room. He came out with his hat, sunglasses on and riding his bullet bike! Look out ladies!

Today, Tomorrow & Yesterday...

Today, at nap time we decided to "test" to see if Zachary was ready to move to a big boy bed. It was a SUCCESS! Zachary got out of bed four times and then went right to sleep! Tomorrow, Zachary will turn 18 months old. It is hard to believe our little boy is growing up so fast.
Here are pictures of today:

Who knows what tomorrow may bring?

And here is a picture of "yesterday"...
This picture was taken the night Zachary was born from my cell phone. He was hooked up to a monitor to observe his breathing as he struggled a little bit because of being born three weeks early. I would go down and sit in the nursery and talk to him since we could not remove him because of the monitors. He was bruised and battered from head to toe. You can see the bruising on his forehead, arms and he had a broken clavicle! Look, at those cheeks! In this picture he looks so big but looking back he was so small, only 8lbs 2 oz compared to the little man he is becoming.
WE are BLESSED to witness another milestone in his life!

It's a birthday party...

Today, we went to Brandon's 15th birthday party.
Brandon opening our gift.
Brandon LOVES to play basketball so the Jordan ball
from Austin was PERFECT!
Brandon and his new set of wheels (it is hard to believe that in a year he will be trading two wheels for four). Ummm, he knew he was getting the bike for his birthday and played it up for the cameras.
And the award for best actor...Brandon Stone!
Dimitri and Brandon (don't let those innocent smiles fool you).
Dimitri helping Brandon blow out his candles.

Dimitri jumping on the trampoline.
Zachary and Dimitri had a great time at the party.

Awww....look at that face!
Is it any wonder, it was love at first sight?

C.S.I...Crime Scene Investigation

This is a picture of Zachary's little foot. While at swim lessons on Saturday, Zachary got a scratch on his ankle and today he decided to pick off the scab. Now, you would think that our house was a part of a crime scene with how much blood he lost. Every room had blood in it from Zachary walking around the house.
One band aid and the case was closed!
Poor guy!

Happy Birthday Tessa...

Today we went to Tessa's 2nd birthday party at
Five Point Park in Bountiful.

Super Dimitri to the rescue!

Zachary's BIG day!

Today, Zachary began swim lessons.

This is a picture of Ms. Katie (the instructor), Mommy, Zachary,
Kira (Zachary's best friend) and Kira's daddy Kenny.
Our big boy!
In this picture, Zachary is "kicking his kickers". It was cute to watch everyone sing nursery rhymes and put them to the motions of swimming. We are very proud of our little guy! Zachary did a WONDERFUL job swimming and we can't wait for next week!

American Easter Sunday

The Easter Bunny came...The Easter Bunny came...

The Easter Bunny came to our house and once again we had to pull off a full scale operation with the Easter Bunny to keep Dimitri in his room so we could film him finding his basket (this time a child proof door handle worked perfect on the inside of his door).
The Easter Bunny left a trail of eggs leading to the baskets.
Zachary checking out his Easter basket.
Zachary is intrigued by what Cookie Monster
has to say in his new book.

Oh no, Dimitri and side walk paint!
Dimitri explaining the different colors to us.

The Easter Bunny left the boys thank you cards for being
Eggs-traodinary boys!
After breakfast we head up to the Sharp house to celebrate Easter.

Another Easter egg hunt.

Zachary found more eggs.

After the Easter egg hunt Dimitri wanted to make
sure the eggs were empty.

Dimitri played in his first game of kick ball and did a fantastic job!
Dimitri had a great time.
We think Zachary was telling us he had a wonderful day.

We had a wonderful Easter and hope that everyone did the same.

Easter Carnival...

After the park we went over to the Easter Carnival at Wheeler Farm.

This is a picture of the boys "fishing" for goodies.

Dimitri blowing bubbles.

We even got pictures with the Easter Bunny!

Fun at Wheeler Farm.

Zachary was VERY happy after his cookie!

After the Easter egg hunt we went home and made cookies for the Easter Bunny.

Let the hunt begin...

This weekend we took the boys to their first public Easter egg hunt. The Easter egg hunt was over in a matter of seconds. It was cute to watch all the little kids run for eggs and try and pick them up as fast as they can.
Our location...
Getting ready for the Easter egg hunt to begin.
Dimitri making a plan of attack.
Zachary loved playing with the eggs and giving them to Kira.

After the hunt we all went over and played on the play ground. Of course, our boys were tough little guys and full of adventure.
It was entertaining to watch Zachary spin around in circles and giggle.
So sweet!
I love this smile!
One more moment to cherish!
